Already Applied?
Once you have completed
the Primary Application and successfully selected one of the OU-Israel Free Spirit programs, you will receive an email from us within a week inviting you to complete the Secondary Application on the Israel Free Spirit website. On the Secondary Application you will submit your top-5 trip date choices and let us know if you have companion travel requests.  If you have not yet completed your primary application it is not too late!

How the Trip Selection Process Works
Israel Free Spirit assigns applicants
to trips after completing registration, interviews etc.  We consider your application to be complete after you have fully finished the Preliminary Application and the Secondary Application (see: Detailed Application Process).

It is critical that you compelete the application  as close to the start date of registration as possible. It does not matter what time you sign-up. The Primary Application website has crashed in the past. Anyone who registers at any time on the first day of registration will be given the same priority trip assignment consideration. Learn More: Detailed Application Process.

Summer 2012 Trip Dates
We have departures from New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. After you completed the Taglit-Birthright Israel "Primary Application," you will select your top-5 preferred trip dates on the Israel Free Spirit "Secondary Application." Each time we post additional dates, we will notify you and give the chance to update your trip date choices on the "Secondary Application." Learn More >> Detailed Application Process.
