How can I become an Blue Spirit Member?

Just register on the Blue Spirit page and we'll send you a confirmation notice and further instructions. 

How do I return to Israel for free?

Tickets are awarded for recruiting 10 participants who successfully complete a Taglit-Birthright Israel - Israel Free Spirit trip in the upcoming winter 2012/13 season and participation in an approved   program when you return to Israel. 

What if I am not an Israel Free Spirit, NCSY, or JSU Alumni?

The Blue Spirit program is open to all who want to express their love of Israel by referring their friends to our Taglit-Birthright Israel trip.

How do you keep track of my referrals?

Blue Spirit members will receive their official referral code upon completing the membership form. When submitting your referrals here, you must use your code. In addition, your referrals must write your code on the primary application.  

Can I use my free ticket to staff an Israel Free Spirit Taglit Birthright Israel trip? 

We would love to have you staff one of our trips. However, there are a lot of factors which we don't control.  If we need staff and you are eligible this will be our first choice. 

What are the requirements for staffing a Taglit-Birthright Israel: Israel Free Spirit trip?

The minimum requirements are: you must be at least 21 years old, have experience in Israel, exhibit leadership qualities, and attend mandatory staff training sessions. Other qualifications may apply.

Tell me what to do! What can I do to recruit and promote?

There are lots of things you can do to help us out. Israel Free Spirit provides promotional material to Blue Spirit members for tabling on campus, spreading the news to your community, writing articles, and marketing one-on-one. Personal recruiting is always the best way to encourage others to register for Israel Free Spirit.  We highly recommend talking to friends on Facebook, Twitter,  and similar sites. Contact us if you have any more ideas.

When will I be notified of my awards status?

Approximately 5-6 weeks after registration closes, we'll be able to verify your status and will contact you with updates.
