The Single Gender trip is designed to strengthen, awaken and satisfy the spiritual yearning for the land of Israel. We weave extra time in Jerusalem, the other holy cities, and visits to kevarim into our already-exciting program. You will deeply experience Israel through spiritually-inspiring locations and local speakers, beautiful and challenging hikes, tours and activities, and helping those in need by giving of your time and effort. Taglit-Birthright Israel – Israel Free Spirit Shakespeare in Israel

Age Group Trip Option: 18-26 years old

The Shakespeare in Israel trip provides an enriching literature experience for the academically-minded and language arts savvy applicants. In addition to breathtaking sites and activities designed to connect participants with their Jewish identity, participants will also discuss stories that involve Jewish themes and explore the dynamic of Jewish and Israeli poets. Reach new heights regarding literature and discover how it pertains to you, Israel, and the community-at-large. We will use text to enhance the experience of key aspects of the program that will bring the written word to life. Taglit-Birthright Israel – Israel Free Spirit JACS / 12 Steps

Age Group Trip Option: 18-26 years old

The JACS/12 Steps trip reconnects troubled youth with their Jewish heritage and reclaims their role as active members in the community. Besides all the traditional highlights and sightseeing, participants will also visit recovery centers in Israel and speak with Israeli experts. They'll meet young Israelis who share their same addiction background, have recovered, and are now on a different track in their lives. Taglit-Birthright Israel– Israel Free Spirit Yachad / NJCD

Age Group Trip Option: 18-26 years old

This trip will enable a unique group of young people to have a personally-tailored experience of Israel. The National Jewish Council for Disabilities' believes that the Jewish community is obligated to include all people with disabilities in any opportunities that are offered to its members. Designed as an introductory level program where Israeli history and culture are presented at a basic level, our participants experience Israel in a way where they learn from what they touch, feel, hear, and eat. Our staff is trained to respond to the needs of a group with a wide array of cognitive and physical challenges. We also train our staff to meet the needs of the participants with different religious beliefs and practices.
